Neptune is made of oceans of liquid diamond, which is pretty cool. Although I'm not sure if I want to vote it as my favorite yet.

As long as PLUTO is STILL on the list as a "PLANET", then PLUTO is the most obvious choice. Given it's distance from our sun/star, & the fact that there are no other stars that are close enough to give that controversial "PLANET" some HEAT, then PLUTO is THE most obvious choice as the "COOLEST PLANET" !!!!! Just my 2 cents. rob

Pluto. Earth is home and always will be but my next would be pluto. I saw a PBS special on the guy who decided not to call it a planet. Basically, he feels it shouldn't be considered a planet because it's apart of this outer belt I forgot the name of it. He stated that if we were to call it a planet then the others like it in this "belt" would have to be named and claimed as a planet as well. But I wonder if all those extra steps are really needed if we call Pluto a planet...
I think call it a planet and forget about naming the ones in the belt.

Thats still up in the air because they have not agreed to what constitutes a planet yet. There are around 5 or 6 theories IIRC.

In 2006, the IAU decided that Pluto was a dwarf planet.

I want someone to say that Pluto is not a planet. I also want someone to say that dwarf people are not people.

Pluto's the coolest because it's named after the god of the underworld

On the special I watch on PBS they named the dog after Pluto so that the planet would get attention. At least that's what they said.

I vote Earth the only one I know! All the others are fascinating. Neptune turned out to be pretty cool looking.
I still consider Pluto a planet too hard habit to break.. There is a larger Kuiper object than Pluto called Xena. The Kuiper Belt and the objects there are also extremely fascinating looking at the odd and elliptical orbits and the periods.
