Actually, I think I was pretty clear with what I ment in the first post. My vote is not dependent on the things you bring up but more on the way this is handled.

Also I did not accuse anyone of anything other than using the wrong methods in resolving this. The vote itself wasnt anything I questioned at all.

If you actually read those things into my post you should reread it again.

You should really reread my post as its posts like this that caused me to vote the way I did. You dont need to attack people who post just because they dont share your views. You just appear rude by antagonising people who dont agree with you and there is no need to fight just because I dont agree with you, is there?

You just admitted that your vote has nothing to do with the actual evidence, but the way they're acting. How foolish can you be? This poll isn't about our methods, it's about a man who has wronged the forum.

Its not the vote as such. The vote system is a good tool. Its just the personal attacks that are, in my view, a bad way of doing something like this. It makes the whole thing seam more like a personal vendetta than an issue of facts.

And no, Im not new to the internet but it makes me sad every time things go into the "its personal" level when it should be about things that has happened. Yes, i know there is information as well but personal attacks should be frowned uppon.

The poll is about banning him. I voted "no" because quite a few people arguing for it are acting like they are doing it out of personal hatred. View my vote as a protest against that kind of behavour.

Well, I can actually vote no just because I think this seam more like a thread of posting bad things about a person than a thread about facts. Founded or unfounded it does not create a good climate for a debate.

This is a discussion about his character. How can it sound anything but "personal"?

This is not a discussion about which driver heats up more. It is a discussion about whether we will allow a person that has acted the way he has (and continues to act) to do business in this forum.

People dislike confrontation. However, sometimes it is needed to deal with an unplesant situation.

I ask you again, do you have a better way to deal with situations like this in a self moderated forum? PM's and thread bashing have not worked. Appeals to the admin have not worked. Give me an alternative before you vote to perpetuate a situation that has already become unberable.
