On the star wars thing, I agree there's no shortage of materiel. I've read many, maybe about half of the post episode 6 books. I did read the entire NJO, now I'm on LOTF, skipped dark nest trilogy. I'd like to see the Yuuzhan Vong on the big screen, along with Jacen and Jaina Solo, Mara Jade Skywalker, (spoiler alert, Mara and Luke hook up, eventually have a kid, Ben Skywalker) Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, Tycho Celchu, Wedge Antillies, Tenel Ka, Jagged Fel, Zekk, I could keep going.

I can't wait for the movie, I just don't see Disney getting it right. The Yuuzhan vong war is R rated in many places, so are some of the other books. more likely they will abandon the books and create new cannon, or only follow them loosely

I also love poking fun at star wars for all it's inconsistencies and such. like in ep. 4: obi-wan-"...and these blast points, too accurate for sand people, only imperial storm troopers are so precise"

Oh really? what else did they mange to hit accurately the rest of the series?

No question that there are a lot if inconsistencies in the Star Wars universe. The abilities, and actions of the Jedi themselves are also often times extremely inconsistent.

The Yuuzhan Vong are also very inconsistent, especially with regards to their spaceships... nearly indestructible in the beginning, but with defenses that are easily overpowered later on in the series.

Personally I think we're more likely to see the Chiss introduced. In terms of keeping things PG13... I think that's highly doable. The MPAA will not risk pissing off disney, by being too draconian with an R rating.
