How is that a WIN?

IIRC pulling your eye, and sticking out your tongue means FU in gorilla language.

Does anyone remember that joke?

How is that a win = I dream of sitting across the table from that lady and eating ice cream.

How is that a win = she ain't no gorilla.

How is that a win = it depends on the context of "FU".

(arg... turning into a dirty old man here)

Okay... yes, that joke comes to me now (more or less); I don't remember exactly how it goes, or how it is worded.

It goes kind of like this;

Guy has a trained gorilla. He is showing the gorilla off to a friend, and explains that the gorilla is intelligent but can only speak sign language.

The guy demonstrates a few things... like (example) "How do you feel?"; gorilla pats his stomach and the guy interprets "He says he is hungry".

Gives the gorilla a loaded gun, and says "What do we do with this?", gorilla makes a horns-on-head sign with his thumbs, and the guy says "He says we shoot deer with the gun."

Then the guy's friend says "let me try", and he tells the gorilla to stick the gun in his ear and pull the trigger.

"FU"

Half was right.

The guy is there to help take care of the gorilla, and the trainer shows him the signs.

....The trainer returns to see the guy had gotten beaten down by the gorilla. The trainer asks "what did you do"? The guy say I pulled my eye to the side and stuck out my tongue. The trainer says "That means F**K YOU in gorilla language". ^^

Its more of a visual joke.

Somehow I like my version better.

Oh, well, I am glad I was 1/2 right.

The early stages (VERY early - not to exaggerate) of senility can be a bitch.

But it gives one the excuse to do "amusing things".

I like telling younger members of my family (mostly my sons and step-daughters) the same thing that I told them just a little while before, just to see that look on their faces

I'll probably end up behind a locked gate somewhere yelling "I was only kidding!"

Peace,
