Why or When you LASE?

eg
1: When I have nothing else to do
2: When I like to forget something
3: Show off to some friends (with goggles for course)
4: Testing divergence etc, and storing they like trophies
etc..

post your heart's content! Why or when you lase?


here's mine answer..
I lase when I have nothing more to do (like when I'm waiting for something to load/download at my computer.. poorsman FTW) so I grab any laser and play with it, point at a wall and just try to see the beam.. if low powered.
or when I want to forget something, like bills, something bad that happened to me.. or similars. When I get a laser I enter a whole new world.. where nothing else exists or matters.. it is just me, and the light...

Until the batteries ends!!

I use mine when im at home only, so i lase everytime i have the chance, when watching tv, at pc, working, waiting for anything, relaxing or just for no reason other than my own joy.

Fortunately, my house is very old so it has large rooms with very tall ceilings, so that gives me plenty of space (wall free of objects and ceiling itself) to point, play and watch from a safe distance.

They are such an eyecandy for me, the colors, the beam and specially the speckle pattern is the characteristic i like the most of laser light.

In short...lasers are to my eyes as music is to my ears :yh:

Well at the moment i laze my projector when it decides to work...
(has a mind of its own.) or maybe its operator error

Most of the time it's going outside on foggy nights and playing with beams! And whenever I'm bored during the day I'll pull out a pen and play around with it.
