Have you ever heard the Greg Lake version of "Nuclear Attack"

in 1981 Greg Lake did a solo album and tour with Gary as lead guitar.

I like some of the guitar solo's in Pink Floyd's songs. I do not know the name of the guitarist in that band so if someone could chime in that would be helpful.

My brother loves Machine Gun.

Don't you just hate the people who love "Smoke on the water" and don't give a rat's ass about any other Deep Purple songs?

Space truckin, My woman from Tokyo, etc.. were all faves, and as a young adult in the 80's "Perfect Strangers" (the whole album) was a fave.

Rainbow / Deep Purple / Alcatrazz & Black sabbath are all tied together big time.

When Black Sabbath toured in 1983, they had Ian Gillan on vocals, the set list included several purple tunes.

see what I got for xmas.

No..I'll have to hunt those down.

I thought everyone would post their own top 10 list with their favorite songs. Maybe I should change the title.

Steve Lukather from Toto kicks some ass too. Check out this clip with Santana and Beck. They totally school Beck here. The whole concert is the same way. Thats Ian Hammer on keyboard.

Post some vids guys. Back up your recommendations.

I'm a big fan of Kris Norris and Paul Waggoner. Though they're metal - not sure if they qualify. :p

Paul and his beautiful sweeps... takes genius to throw something like this into Between the Buried & Me's lineup.
