lets also not mention how the vette drives like a board... ive never liked the handling on vettes... EVER...

vettes may be good for 1/4 mile or whatever but put them on a road course...

lol, did you not watch the video? The vette beat the GTR all the way around. In the slalom, in the skidpad, on the track, in braking.

If the Corvette drives like a board, what does the GTR drive like? A semi?

TJ: All depends on the model, plus I'm putting in aftermarket suspension goodies anyway. The stock forms handles pretty well, though, at least in the turbo models; unless your uncles idea of "good" is smooth and boat-like ;) (I kid!)

And, the 4G63 (turbo) motors don't crap out if you maintain them well. My girl just sold hers with 125k on it, running great. You just have to make sure you do a full maintanence (ALL timing components and water pump, etc) every 80k or so. There are plenty of motors out there climbing toward 200k, but there are also a lot that fail earlier because of wanna-be modders doing stupid things with their engines, hence why I bought the car with a hole in the block from a snapped rod, chucked it in the garbage and plopped a new one in :)

Heck, combine them...toss a Mr. Fusion on that Tesla and you're set for life with no recharging.

I already own my dream car (under restoration) :D But no. No BTTF conversion for me. The flux capacitor and cocaine jokes are bad enough with a 'normal' DeLorean as it is. And the self appointed car 'guru's' who try to show off to their buddies about there extensive (wrong) knowledge of the car then get pissed off at you when you correct them.

Delorean_Geek: you're living the dream!
How does she run? I hear those french V6 are sort of asthmatic....

My dream-car? I have so many....
But I'd love on of the 71 only ever made Golf II Limited, by VW Motorsport.
Doesn't look like much on the outside, but....
Pretty much full extras, leather interiors, 1.8L 16V + G-Lader -> 210 HP.

Alternatively, I guess I'd settle for a 944 S2.
Biggest 4 cylinder ever.

Recently I saw one of these in real life. It must be one of the most beautiful
cars I have ever seen. The E-Type. The picture doesn't do it justice though,
it looks even better IRL.

I could go on and on, I have so many dream car's, I cannot decide.

What I'd really really like to own though, a Mooney:

Can anyone lend me a 1/4 million, please?

Mine actually does alright, it has the aftermarket stage II engine upgrade but you are right, in stock form there is much to be desired. The Delorean did have decent power before the EPA got ahold of it and choked it down for US emissions.

I am a big fan of the Ascari A10.
It is old school enough to be tough, has power to spare, and looks that make my keyboard all sticky.

Scion tC. But of course with an added body kit and turbo charger/internal work. I've only recently become enamored with this car, but I've seen a nice looking one in a body kit and they can make some serious horsepower with some turbo charging. I know this is rather hypocritical as I said once that I didn't see a point in having a supercar when you can't drive it that fast legally, but that was pertaining to >$100,000 breeds, not the $15,000 Scion ;).
