Whats the worst you have ever been shocked?

The worst I have ever been shocked was with a camera flash capacitor at 400V. It didn't just get me on my finger or one of my hands. One electrode on one hand the other electrode on the other hand. It was the most insane feeling I ever had! I lost all muscle control in my hands and couldn't let go. It was like 3 or 4 seconds before one of my hands slipped off the wire. It felt like someone behind me grabbed both of my shoulders and shock me as hard as they could. My arms were numb for 10 minuets and I couldn't stop shaking.

You couldn't pay me enough to do it again!

It was WAY worse than being shocked on my hand with my 12/60 NST or my Tesla Coil or by my flyback. It was just 400v but it sucked!!!

My worst is the same as yours - only 450v. Everything else was basically the same... except my fingers ached for a few days afterwards. I never knew flash caps could be so nasty... :p

I stepped on a HeNe power supply while only wearing socks. i had bare wires laying on the carpet and some of the insulation stripped back with copper just wrapped around the Alden connector... the lights were out in the room at the time.

was wiring a motor fan at work three phase 460 v lets just say i transfered to a different dept after that one ,I mean that was the worst
ive ever been hit i went to general maint dept after that cause we work in an area thats washed down with hot soapy water daily= danger!!

Thankfully, the worst I've ever been shocked was plugging my computer in ::) It was decent, not too bad.

Ive been shocked numerous times.

240V twice, my 15kV 30ma NST once, 3 times by a 60kV flyback, 4 or 5 times by a dual ignition coil setup, a few times from barbecue lighters, once or twice by a photo flash cap, 100 times on a little 6V power supply I have (The mains inst properly isolated, so you get shocked thru the 6V out :eek:)
and a few times from little high voltage capacitors layin around in my junk box. I need to be more careful I think :-X

I was doing something on the inside of our pinball machine, and I got some kind of a shock. I don't know what it was, but it was one of the weirdest feelings I've ever had. I don't think it was too strong, though, because I didn't get burns and I felt normal after an hour or two (muscles returned to normal). No clue what happened. It didn't hurt, but it was horrible; I felt the power flowing through my body.

Got a 240V from a water heater once. I was staying in this cabin, and wanted hotter water, so I went to open the little door to turn the thermostat up, and apparently the thing wasn't grounded properly, because my arm went numb as soon as I touched the door. It may have only been part of the 240 floating, maybe it was grounded, but not perfectly grounded; but either way it was not pleasant.

50 Kv flyback in the balls. It hurt oh, so badly.
I've also had various camera cap shocks and a shock from a 2 cap bank in my flyback driver.

Mines is the same as a few already posted, 400-450V camera flash, got it through one arm. it felt like someone had injected with my arm with a super fast acting tranquilizer that wears off after 3 seconds then started shaking my arm, weirdest sensation ever :eek:

I've also been shocked off of a plasma globe covered in tinfoil, probably pretty high voltage, but it doesn't really hurt much.

More than 400V from a camera flash cap. If it's 240V mains voltage your talking about that is, mains voltage leaves burns, and is more likely to kill you rather than give you a jolt.

I got a 120v shock days ago.
I coulnt move my arm...
