yea lol you would need a laser of ridiculous power that would cost thousands and wouldnt be portable to do a job that some $1 scissors could do

lol, you can unlock zipties with a needle , or thin blade. : I have no experience with IR either, but I'd bet that 500mW would get it done when focused properly.Maybe a DX100 should have a 500mW diode? :-/

No, when its black it thick when its white is thin. Lets just say i cant cut it with laser guided cutlery, what should i get to do the job.
