I'm waiting for our battery tech not to suck, and where we can get to a point where we have high-powered lasers in our watches :D

Fancy. I think my friend has a movado-his dad teaches saudi arabian princes and stuff how to fly, and they always give him watches, so he finally gave my friend one.

You know those watches where some old guy says "I bought this thing twenty years ago for twenty bucks, banged it on every brick wall and dunked it in every swimming pool, and it's still running perfectly on the same battery it came with"?

I want one of those. Anyone know what watch I should buy?

Most of my watches are Citizen (very well made, never need a battery, etc), plus a Bulova or two and a few Timex and Fossil (steel or titanium, more chronographs than not).

I was considering asking for this for my Birthday;

Submariner Full 18k Gold
Before anyone gets up in arms about the price of a ROLEX, & me being on DISABILITY
Check out the details of this BAD-BOY. After you read the details, THEN check out the price !!!

Specifications: * Automatic movement.
* Hack mechanism (second hand stops when crown is pulled out to set the time – standard feature on all genuine Rolex watches).
* Diver′s extension to watch bracelet.
* Sapphire crystal watchglass.
* Screws in the links, not pins.
* Rolex logo etched at 6 o′clock position on watch dial.
* Gold date wheel (as per genuine Rolex All Gold models).
* Rubber seal at trip-lock winding crown.
* Heavily micron-plated genuine gold.
* Magnified quick-set date at 3 o′clock position.
* Serial band/number on last link/lugs.
* Fliplock oyster bracelet, steelinox clasp, serial number on clasp.
* Solid back with characteristic Rolex green sticker.
* Screw-in watch crown.
* Luminescent hour markers/hands.
* All the appropriate Rolex markings in the correct places.

Submariner Full 18k Gold

For Only:
$89.00 For the way that this watch looks, & all the appointments that make it look almost EXACTLY like a REAL "ROLEX", you just can't beat the price. A "REAL ROLEX" of that particular model retails for, (hold onto your hats) $23,225.00-WOW.
It IS a GREAT LOOKIN' WATCH, but with MY income, I'd be happy with the "REPLICA"
Supposedly it would take a "certified jeweler" to be able to tell the two apart...........

Right now I'm wearing a rolex explorer...

No idea if it's real or not. I inherited it when my great-grandfather died.

The watch I usually wear is a skagen 238LTMB... pretty cool watch, made from titanium, and apparently a pretty rare model from skagen. Here's a picture:

that thing is THIN! Not very water resistant though, 3 atmospheres is about 30 feet of seawater.

I'm thinking of getting one of these. It is a Traser Code Blue. Does anyone know much about this brand?

I don't usually wear a watch, but when I dress up for work or something, I wear this:

My step-uncle works for Callaway, and got us all watches one year. :)
