At my cabin we have a stealth cam that is motion activated and takes 9 pictures automatically when it is triggered. A little while ago, we went up to check it and we got these pictures UFO pictures by WOLFHUNTER9154 - Photobucket (there's some doubles in there.) There is also a picture that I mad on paint showing the position of the trail camera. What do you think?

I think even that fox was looking at it....it's in the distance way past the tree , but even the fox looked that way. It's something, but it's sure as hell not a smoking gun.

Its actually a coyote, but the fact that it was looking at it was a fact that I forgot to mention. It was what made me think this was something weirder that It already was.

You need to replace the light source of your cam with something like a 980nm
or even 808 high power set to flood.. Images at distance may be easier to capture.

I know when I was living in a building, a 500mW 808 worked very well at distance
with a sony night-shot

Is 980 more visible to the camera? However, I don't think my tad would appreciate me taking his stealthcam apart:yh:

And joeyss, I think that is just a bug. if you look here http://s712.photobucket.com/albums/ww126/WOLFHUNTER9154/?action=view&current=SUNP1042.jpg this is the next picture taken with the camera the following morning.

Should be about the same.. I didnt really see any difference other than 980
being completely invisible to the human eye. The cam focused well with both.
808's are easier to get and cheaper as well..

You don't necessarily need to do anything to the cam, perhaps build a motion sensitive
laser floodlight even 2-300mW to act stand alone. You could even trigger it
by using the cam's existing flash placing a sensor in front of it for the laser circuit.

You would be surprised how detailed a laser can be with night vision. I was able
to read lic plates 20 floors up and a block away with the zoom and the laser on
a crappy old hi-8 video cam.

That's creepy.....someone could just be spying on us using a 980nm laser as a cheap IR spotlight instead of buying NV gear. I never realized this.

I wouldn't think that from the pics.. Even if the source was IR, there would be a
bright glare surrounding it.. Those lights dont look directional to me.

You need to take a pic in the same position during the day to see where
everything fits in the background.

^If you knew what it was then it would not be a UFO by technical terms now would it? Plus that would take all the fun out of it!
