What's the name of this song??? (from the 20's?) (tom and jerry)

So I've been wondering all day, I've had the song stuck in my head.. so I re created it on my computer in midi format. Tom and Jerry comes to mind when I hear this.

almost 4 years ago I started to download the disography of this artist. The music is from the 20's, and there's a bunch of funny old songs. But my download never completed, and I forgot the name of the artist.

I even called my wife to listen -- She's a movie freek. We have heard it but can't identify it either. She says it's from a movie.

I know I've heard it on TV... either a transition between programs or a theme song.

Hey Mikeeey I looked all over for you. Took forever but I have come close to figuring it out. You can do the rest. On Newgrounds a guy made a remix version but he doesn't give the name of the song. I messaged him but no reply as of yet. Contact him about his song called Calliope. Calliope

It's in the opening credits of "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" as I told mike as soon as I heard it. However this did not help in actually finding the name/artist.

I used to watch the old looney toons as a kid on cable when they did the reruns and at first I didn't even remember that. I remember it being on Madness Combat so I looked for the artist who remixed it but couldnt get the actual name. Then I remembered the Merry Melodies so I looked those up on wiki. But still no answers. After tons of random searches I remembered the song playing during a factory scene so I searched for factory music on loony toons and it showed up on youtube.
