Re: What's the brighest RGB colour?

And?

Anyway if you mean the heightened sensitivity for the human eye in general, many will tell you is the 555nm (540 THz) ie. R=179, G=255, B=0.

I converted 555nm to RGB using
Code:
http://rohanhill.com/tools/WaveToRGB/
And it gives me different result to what you have said

It seems to me that this converter is not entirely accurate, I can be wrong, but do not think so.

You mean to tell me that you gentlemen think 179:255:0 is brighter than 255:255:255? Or even 255:255:0?

Not yellow because Chartreuse is brighter?
I want to avoid white regardless.

Thanks for the RGB suggestions

I don't think you understand what RGB values are.

You're not gonna believe this, but they're the values... get this, they're the VALUES... that is the amounts of red, green, and blue respectively. ;) larger numbers are brighter.

Fluorescent yellow is my favourite now aka 255 255 0
I cant choose white mainly because my game has a lot of white walls.
