Virginia Laser meet march 8th

Hey guys. I'll be bringing my led flashlight collection as well as two projectors.
If you guys have any cool flashlights bring them!

I sure hope we're waiting until dark right! Haha

Plans have prettymuch finalized; I'll be coming back into Richmond on Friday the 7th, so I'll be around!

so the meet will be at my house. I will PM you guys the adress im not gunna post it on the open forum
With only 5 people looking like they will come there is no point in trying to get a bigger place

This works out great because we can use my dads shop if we want to do any tinkering and we can even use my Mini lathe. :drool: plus i have lots of copper bars to make heat-sinks with. again :drool:

OK so I was thinking about having the meet go from 10AM to whenever we get tired or 10 PM.


Bring all your smalls and even broken stuff I'm always looking for parts. :san:

I plan to have a trading table at this meet :san: after all whats the fun of a meet and greet if there is nothing to swap as well :beer:

as far as meals go that's up to y'all to decide.
we can either
•all bring our own and eat whenever
•go out and get something whenever your hungry
•we all bring enough for us and a little extra and just have a food table like at a reunion :bday:
•another option is ordering pizza there is a pizza place 200 yards from my house.
Despite what my Location says I'm actually not in Richmond
I am 2 Miles from Chester if y'all wanted to look for food options.

Also give me some more Ideas of things y'all wanna do at the meet.

the press rod ( or whatever you call it) is fatter than those pens but we can rig up some kind of press tool xD.

The problem is in the springs. Before I put them together I made sure the springs made good contact. But somehow things shifted when installing and they are giving me intermittent connection sometimes, working fine sometimes, and not at all sometimes. So they need to come out.

have you tried some plasti-dip and a small paint brush, paint the walls around the spring- or do you mean the spring isn't making contact with the battery?

It's not making good contact every time I insert the batteries. I think I just need to adjust the way they are bent, but can't with them in there.
