That's why Trump's approval ratings are and have always been in the dirt. He is the least popular president in modern history. He even lies when there is no need to. You, and the rest of his base are loyal and as he said before, he could shoot and kill someone and you would still support him. But, the rest of the country does not. He is the swamp. It reeks. Would not be surprised if he doesn't finish this term.

Yea, yea, I heard this line of BS before, how did it go....oh yea, every day with the polls, no way would Trump win you said, look at the polls, look at the polls, he cant win, look at the polls.

YAWN....what ever gets you through your day, just keep believing what ever gets you through your day, ignore everything else and believe your own BS.

I do wonder why, I can only surmise that you want socialism, it won't be what you expect, the deeper our debt the harder the socialist life will be, and we do have debt...but hey, if you're young and healthy you can work in the socialist factory until you're used up, they you can fertilize the farm.

That looks like a high rise construction crane, I saw one in Atlanta on a foggy night when my GF lived downtown and I took some cellphone cam pics, cellphone cams were pretty new at the time, but it looked like lights in the sky as the fog hid the crane's structure, I have been looking for the pics.

People do make stuff up, but if an airport was shut down we should hear about that, think about how much money the air force could get, they wouldn't keep it secret if they had something, they would use it to get funding...but you never know.

I'm talking about one of these.

The crane is just a web pic, mine were at night in the fog and the lights looked like they were just floating in the sky, but I cant find my pics, I know they were from a crane that was there but if you didn't already know it would have been spooky, anyway there's a lot of faked stuff out there, but I would like to see some I knew was real, or have something hit the news that had no explanation, I did see some documentaries that were interesting, one was a place where lights would appear in the fog out of nowhere, turns out it was car headlights from a distant road and a special atmospheric effect that happens when conditions are just right.

I also saw the one that looked like a bug or defect on a fighter jets heads up display, then it pulled away, so some of it makes you think, but a lot of stuff I think is faked, but I admit it's possible, still I would like to see something really amazingly undeniable someday, anything is possible.

You are either spouting known BS or you're lying to yourself, Trump was attacked by a corrupt system headed by Barry and the truth has come out, at this point the FBI 7th floor is in CYA mode.

It's time to drain the swamp as the swamp is exposed, the FBI is on the defensive, not the attack.

Granted the men and women of the FBI are mostly good people, but their leadership has been corrupted and the FBI let the Florida school shooter slip through some pretty huge cracks, it's time to drain this swamp.

Fact.

They aren't real, all fake...

ya, right....

Interesting video..... But I would need more tangible
proof.

Having some experience working with lithium batteries, but always staying safe, and never seeing a spectacular failure like we often hear about, I thought I'd do some deliberate destruction of a large dead coin 3v lithium battery I found in a 1980's satellite descrambler. I jabbed holes in it... nothing happened so I turned it up a notch and some cool stuff happened (the holes jabbed in it did help, so that wasn't a waste). The results were so cool and unexpected I repeated it with a 2032 cell and taped it.

This doesn't happen with a normal lipo. I did find another lithium battery in the unit, a 2/3A, and it released green fire and turned into a self sustained torch. Eventually the lithium found its way out and got white hot like magnesium releasing a huge amount of heat, far more than what my torch could do. It's video wasn't as good because it was too bright for the camera.

That's a very good print seen on your output lens, under 80% at it's widest I'm sure and well clear of your lens edge for certain and the edges of your bar are square, not rounded, it looks like you are getting all your power through, minus any parasitic loss of course, but it looks like you are not clipping at all and that's great.

Your beam looks good, even the typical multi mode side bands you normally see and their axial spray are virtually non existent, that's something I also like about beam expanding is the way it helps soak up the typical primary lens flair and artifact spray.

I'm sure you can hit the lower cloud bottoms later when you have some overhead, your spot looks strong and if you can zoom to any given distance and keep most the spot intact then you should get some good burning concentration of the power as well.

Looking good. :D

How are you seeing this, Red? All I get is it was deleted by Chris for video problems. And that was at 10:30. PST

I just signed in for a few minutes about 30 min ago, watched it 20 min ago, then went to the dinner table for a late snack, now I'm back and it's deleted.

I apparently got lucky and caught it while the video was working.

It's good to do it that way rather than using the raw diode output which is already expanding, because the G2 lets you adjust to suit your lens of course and it ( G2 ) is very efficient.

But the other really important thing is you protect your diode window from dust and humidity when removing your attachment.

If we were to make a setup using the raw output we should do it in such a way that the diodes chamber stays sealed and we do all our adjusting with a relay and/or final focus lens, but as the G2 is very efficient it is a good choice and lets us adjust, the one thing I have noticed is how 1 lens affects the next is ways not expected, for instance when I have had a lens or 2 element pair that works as a final focus lens but wont fit all the diodes natural diverging beam at the final lens focal length, so I figure........ well I can just use a G2 and bring that divergence in a bit, but that can throw everything out of whack, so the final focus for me is a matter of trial and error especially with the wings issue, the PCX you are using is working well after the G2 primary, but a PCX alone seems to produce wings using the diodes raw diverging output, so again starting with a G2 primary looks like a good solution thus far.

Maybe a wider longer FL aspheric could be used alone, but the power and shape would be tricky and has been so far, so maybe the G2 primary focused in a bit tighter to an adjustable center relay lens that sets up the print size for a final focus PCX could eliminate the need to adjust the G2 other than initial setup and fine tuning. Just a thought. ;) Once worked out we could have housings made for the super BE that would allow adjustment for a wider but uniform beam or a wide to tight burner/cloud spotter, and all that in between because a 90% of max setting could be the clean setting, it's to be done and seen.

It's still likely that beam correction of the rapidly diverging axis first is the best way, but I would like to see how tight we can get at 75 feet with just a G2 and PCX, even a long but razor sharp line can burn well, this is what I get with the NUBM06 GBall intact and 3XBE when it's one of the tighter focused GBalls, I get a sharp burning line at 50 feet but a fatter yet shorter burning line at 15 feet. This is with the best focus I can get of the 3XBE after the intact GBall.

If future big power diodes are GBalls then correcting the rapidly diverging axis would take physically larger Cylindrical lens pairs, but possibly with a relay lens BE or a 2 lens be with both lenses adjustable.....because my placement distance of the 3XBE and it's fixed input lens changes the tightness of that bar/spot at 15 feet, so....whatever primary be it G2 or GBall being able to adjust 2 following lenses......may mean some very wide lenses LOL, still very interesting and although alignment is an issue for testing I am curious, however in industry they use a FAC to deal with divergent diodes then lens from there, but it may not always be possible if for instance wanting to keep a Gball intact on a 40 watt diode later on, we may not easily get perfect results, but good enough with enough power to make it useful/fun. :)

RCB, wish a had a big yard like you have to do divergence measurements, where I am at right now there is no place for me to turn on a laser and do something like that with the shared back yard the apartment building I am in has. Wish I could try some of your ideas out.

When we gonna see video of 3W of 577nm?!! :D

Oh I know the divergence is awful, a NUBM44 with a G2 makes a 2 inch long line at 15 feet and a 7/8 inch long line at 15 feet with a 3 element, I posted a pic of it before, it really is awful, in my tree line it's an awful long line, but with a 3 element and 3XBE it burns with about a 1/4 inch line at 15 feet and here's a NUBM44 with a 3 element and 3XBE, it's also very good with a G7 and 3XBE with more power.

p.s. It is not worth using a G2 with the 3XBE, use the G7 instead, the G2 makes a 250% longer line and it's not worth it unless you are doing beam shaping, try it and see, the tighter divergence more than makes up for the cut in total power.

Sanwu really did the optics right with the 3XBE for use with our MM diodes.

G2=95% Total power transmission but 250% line length.
G7=88%
3E=70%

With a 44 in a HH build you can use a 3E or G7 and 3XBE easily, just screw your 3E into the adaptor and then screw it into your HH as normal and set it to a tight line at 30 feet then you can lock it down by loosening your heat sink set screw and pushing the module down so the adaptor bottoms out against your heat sink, ( it helps to back off an 1/8 of a turn so after you tighten your set screw you can take that 1/8 turn back to eliminate thread slack and keep your focus, it's not hard, just turn it on and check before installing your BE ) tighten your set screw and screw in your 3XBE, then do all your focusing with the BE, that's it.

----EDIT----

At 75 feet the 44/3E/3XBE focuses to makes a line about 1.75 inches long and at 300 feet it's 7 inches long. I have a driveway marked at 100 yards from my side window and it's the length of your basic tin mailbox door. My 44/G2/6Xcyl/3XBE makes a 0.5 inch line at 75 feet, but the 0.5 inch long line at 75 is about 1/8 to 3/16 high and it burns.

Good call on the 577. Shame, but saved you a lot of money and hassle. The seller tried to do a crafty.
