Venus?

Found an old thread about finding planets and it got me wondering what planet or maybe just a star I see every night is. Its in the sky every night in a North Westernly direction and is always the brightest and first to become visible every night.

My theory is its Venus? Perhaps someone with better knowlege of this could tell me?

I can't really get much more info on it appart from that.

i thought you were talking about some kind of laser, like from dragon laser or some weird company that uses funky names.

the planet was my last thought.

Fair enough, but if it was laser related I would probably have posted it somewhere other than the off topic area.

I'm sorry guys but when I read "Venus" I knew there was something going on about planets here... this is the "Other" section ;)

the only problem is most people use the check new posts link and dont go through sections (at least thats how i thought most people did)

I merely pointed out that your Title was not clear and that there was a Thread about that
issue...

Agreed, we could settle with changing the name to "Planet Venus Question" or something like that and maybe in the future rethink topic names before posting. Are we all good?
