Sometimes the best way for me to express my anger is to write it out. Sorry if this just seems like a bunch of BS ranting, but that is what it is. I order laser related stuff all the time and therefore I am constantly receiving packages. I live in a large apartment building with a security guy at the door who collects everyones packages and signs for them. Well 6 months ago I "received" a large package that I never received. I was screwed out of a lot of money because the people who work the door aren't responsible enough to sign for and hold onto my packages. after that incident I made a request for the door people to keep their hands off of my packages. I have had to go to the USPS,UPS,FEDEX,DHL to get my packages. This is a huge inconvenience for me and costs me a lot of time. I just found out today that they are now apparently to friggen retarded to put the UPS info notices on, in, or anywhere near my mail box. I received a $700 laser on the 2nd and was not informed. Ups then decided to hold it and redeliver after 5 days. I didn't receive that info notice either. Now my package is in KENTUCKY!! I wish i had a GPS tracking device placed in my body that the delivery people could use to hunt me down and give me my packages. I feel completely and hopelessly helpless. The only way I will be permitted to live happily is if I move out of my apartment or quit my job and wait in front of the building 6 days a week.

Yeah...that would be very frustrating. What about delivery to the place that you work? I wonder if those places like 'The UPS store', or Mail Boxex Etc., will let a guy set up something for signed deliveries? Where you could have your items shipped to them, and they hold them for you?

Yeah i'm with jayrob. I get ALL my stuff sent to me at work, granted I own the business but i'm sure where you work would not have a problem with excepting packages for you. I don't have a problem with any of my employees having them sent to work. Also alot of people that order off the Website give me their work addresses to deliver to.

Thanks for the empathy. I will consider getting something like that set up at work. I wish there were a way for me to have a big a$$ P.O box for all my mail to be sent to, that would be ideal.

You're definitely not the only one. Sometimes, it's UPS/Fedex/etc that is in the wrong, and sometimes it's the desk clerk at the apartments. I've almost lost a few because the UPS driver was too lazy to even come to the door. How do I know? I was displeased enough to sit where I could see anyone approaching, and was able to monitor the package status at the same time. When it changed to (delivery attempt failed - 3nd notice) without ever having seen a driver or any notice, I called up the UPS office and explained the situation in detail. That night, the manager of the local sort personally drove the package over after normal hours, and there was a new driver on the route the very next day.

Not always, but sometimes, you can get things corrected by being persistent and calm. ;D

Maybe I should have a talk with the UPS driver next time I see him. He is lucky he doesn't have to delivery every package to each individual apartment. If he hasn't even been dropping of the info notices I will be pretty upset with him.

yea, I feel quite ripped off right now, around 7 weeks ago I placed and order with DX< and 6 weeks ago another.

a little while back, I go the first order, (i had ordered AMC7135's and an MXDL), I only got the MXDL, and inside was a partial shipment notice, and that they would ship the AMC's as soon as they had them

a little while after that, the second shipment came (Laser pointers and 18650 charger), inside was only the laserpointers, and a partial shipment notice again.

I check online, and I notice they have said they sent it as one package...

now 7 weeks later, and DX claims that they sent it, and Im lying. they say the only way they will send me replacements is if I send them pics of the package and the contents when I recieved them. when was the last time you randomly took pictures of your mail????

im so angry right now...

Send them a copy of the packing notice that shows partial shipment. They may be able to work with that.

Good idea GreyFox. I've made it a habit of keeping every bit of packaging from DX orders until it's all arrived. They break up my orders constantly. I'm sure they get a lot of scammers trying to rip them off, so all they're asking for is evidence. The partial shipment slip should do the trick.

Hope it all gets resolved for you. I'm sure they're pretty overloaded right now because they were shut down for 2 weeks over the Lunar New Year's holiday and they probably have a lot of complaints to catch up on.

Good Luck! CC

yea they said they could resolve it if I take a picture of the partial shipment notice, but the thing is, I threw them away a couple weeks ago when I got my package :'( .

I have no Idea what to do now...

Maybe talk to the manager of the apartment about talking to the people who sign for the packages? They are stealing so the manager might not like that and fire them.

Ouch. No packaging, no notice, so unless you find if/where that package is, I think you're going to learn this one the hard way. I'm sure you won't get anywhere without some form of evidence to back up what you're saying, true or not. They are a company, after all. Sorry.
