So today I was wandering around with my camera, and I noticed a toad on the ground. Got some pretty sweet macro shots.

While I'm at it... Here's a couple more I took while I was out.

Thanks. It's a Canon XS with the 18-55mm kit lens. I need a new lens though, because this one isn't very sharp and macro is my best area.

Nice PS skills. I like the Gaussian blur around the frogs head, and dandelion.

There actually isn't any photoshopping! The blur just comes from using macro with lower apertures.

It's Canon's cheapest SLR. I got the lens combo for $400.

Nice pics! I used to use the lens from a telescope for point-and-shoot camera macro shots.
