Hello guys. I've decided to put together a nice little e-book with recipes from TJ's cooking thread, located here.
http://laserpointerforums.com/f57/cooking-tj-49870.html
What I am going to do is this. I'm going to make a cover page, a page that covers the list of ingredients everyone should have on hand, and then 25 recipes. Here's how I'm planning on doing it, and I need your help.
First, I need your consent: If it is ok with you that I put your recipe in this book, then I will add it. I don't see why it would not be ok since you've already posted it on a public forum, but I want to be 100% certain. If it is ok with you, please reply here stating so.
Second, the cover: So, I was thinking that you guys could all take pics of some of the recipes you've prepped and post them here. I will take three of them that make me salivate the most, and then I will create a poll and let LPF decide which of the three should make the cover. Then, I will add labels, the title, etc all with different styles, but that will be discussed later when the time is right. If you decide to submit a picture for the cover, please make sure that the picture meets this criteria. If your photograph does not meat all four criteria, it will not be considered.
Third, the recipes: As stated earlier, I need your consent in order for me to add the recipes to the PDF. You will be credited fully by either your forum name, or your real name, whichever of the two you prefer. If you decide to allow your recipes in the book, I'm going to need a picture of it! As we all know, pics are worth a thousand words, and this is by all means no exception. I will not add your recipe to the book without a picture! Remember, presentation is everything so make sure that plate of food looks it's best. Also, feel free to submit however many recipes you wish. Also, if anyone recommends other users recipes that they'd like to see added to this book, feel free to suggest. Don't suggest your own recipe however.
Fourth, the title: I was thinking "Cooking with LPF, Volume I". However that is subject to change, and I am open to suggestions.
That's about it for now. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to ask me. Happy cooking all!

1) The photo is at least 1024x768 pixels. Nothing tiny please.
2) The picture is clear and sharp. Nothing blurry or out of focus please.
3) Make sure the picture is only of your recipe. Scenery need not be included.
4) Make sure your presentation is neat and organized. Sloppy plates will not be considered.
