Not funny, but odd - did any of you hear about the police officer that was being prosecuted for drawing and firing his weapon without cause ? It was found that he did shoot at the "bad guy" and his bullet went IN THE BARREL OF THE GUN ! Unbelievable, but true ! Just had to share - his case was dissmissed when they found his bullet lodged in the other guy's barrel ! THAT'S good shooting !

SenKat Were you talking about the cop one or the fastfood freestyle the cop one was kind of werid but it i liked the part when he throw the gernade behind him to make it look like he was walking out of a explosion.

Yeah - pretty good stop motion - which is becoming VERY popular again - DTV has many commercials like that - take a lot of work to film that (info from my daughter !) but looks kinda cool !!

Sniper - the "cop" thing - I was reminded of that news story because I watched that goofy vid with the kung fu cop in it ! But, yeah - the officer actually fired his weapon because the "bad guy" was pointing his gun at him - and when the cop fired, his bullet went into the barrel of the bad guys' gun ! Knocked it out of his hand, and everything ! That is a once in a lifetime shot there, my friends ! I spent 11+ years in the US Navy - bored most of the time, so I worked on getting all the little decorative medals, and awards I could since I was so bored. Two of the ones I got were "Expert Rifle, and Expert Pistol Marksmanship" TOUGH medals to get - had to get 98% groupoing, etc - so I am/was a pretty damn good shot (back in the day) and there is NO way I could even DREAM of making a shot like that ! (PS - I ACED the shooting exam - 100%...and STILL no way in hell would I think I could do that !) The course was run by US Marines (oooo-rahh Brothers !) so the quality was assured...

Senkat, somehow I knew you would get a kick out of that. ;D I was almost hysterical, the first time I read it.

I don't know why it should be so funny. I'm sure they laugh at our translations too.

The rahoi.com blog site where that came from is extensive and has tons more examples of "manglish" as well as some interesting travel/experience commentary on China. It's easy to spend hours running around on that site.
