Is there a new forum policy in place?

We ALL get tired of it sometime. Usually it is only one of us at a time so it is no big deal. We may have offended the NooB and may loose him. Worse things have happened.

Exactly...its not like it goes on all the time. It does not even happen in a blue moon. If that kid didnt figure out it was a joke after mfo's comment, then he obviously doesn't belong.

All you do here is promote ill feelings and unrest.. why should you be allowed to continue? I see no reason at all, myself, and I know I'm not alone. Whether others are willing to confront you about it is their own call, but over time you've turned me against you through your constant negativity, trolling, "ball-busting", kid games, inaccurate help and advice and general unpleasant behavior. I don't need anyone else to "help me" or "get my back". I'll take you on myself, no problem. I live for this shit. You always stop just short of breaking the forum rules, but it's only a matter of time, and I'll be there then, just the same as I'll be there every time you make a sideways comment. I'm done with it. If the mod/admin won't do anything about you, I will. Let this be your public notice. It's me vs. you..

And feel free to give me the same treatment, TJ.. I would expect you to feel that you need to follow me around and call me out, but I have a feeling that one of us is going to have WAY more reasons than the other. Feel free also to start a ban thread to ban me. I would expect nothing less.. but the truth of the matter is, I don't need to be a part of this forum. I've put a lot of my own effort into posting as much useful information here as I can, so I would hate to see it go down the tubes, but I'll gladly give up my membership here for a wholehearted attempt at seeing you gone. Gladly.

Aye ... we all do act childish sometimes ... But I still prefer the humor on PL, but even then there are some people who can't take a joke or take things to far.

Doesn't really matter, hardly even been on PL ... or here ... lately, too busy.

It still stands that it was wrong to have acted like that to someone who didn't know any better, on their first post. Not only does it discourage them from coming into the hobby, they'll also tell other people not to come here. As said before, it's much easier just to ignore someone like that if they annoy you and let someone else help them instead.

That's the wrong attitude to have. "We may have offended the NooB and may loose him. Worse things have happened.". It might be only one noob - but no one knows how many improvements that he could have brought in the future. When you first started out, did anyone think that you would do all the testing you have done? No, of course not. If YOU had left due to someone acting like that then we would have lost a great deal, no?

Not only that, but it will discourage other lurkers from joining in, learning and eventually contributing.

I know you or someone else will come in saying how I shouldn't be talking about other folks having the wrong attitude. But I don't really care - this isn't about me.

Amen to that ... I originally found your trolling funny, but now it's just getting old - something can only ever be interesting or funny for so long until it becomes boring.

I'll let EF explain why he went away as I don't fully understand his situation, having not been too active before and during his leaving.

As for me - I owned up and apologized since I realised that what I did was disrespectful. It's in the past and as I said in my previous post, this isn't about me, so stop trying to take the attention off of yourself and shift it to someone else. This is about YOU and mfo - not what me or EF have done in the PAST.
