Hey c0ldshadow, just wanted to thank you for selling out and making a few dollars in order to help a known laser scammer scam laser newbies. Nice warnlaser banner at the bottom of the forum.

Is it worth the extra money, risking your creditability? I know you want money to support the forum, but isn't it better to get legit advertisers and keep your creditability?

I noticed the warnlaser/higherlasers/other advertisements too. I wouldn't blame cold for this. It is probably added in by Google or something.

Either way it helps fund the forum and we can just tell the laser noobs to avoid warnlaser if they feel like asking about it. There are already plenty of topics about how bad warnlaser is.

I don't think so, but they are scammers. Its just as bad as advertising with a WL banner.

Its not a google banner, it was added manually. I can tell by the coding.
Still I don't see why this is such a big problem. Anyone who does some research or asks on the forum will learn the truth about warnlaser. Personally I would rather see banners advertising the good laser companies but if warnlaser is the only company willing to pay for it I can't complain. Let warnlaser spend their money advertising on a forum that hates them ;)

I think its abusing the creditability of this forum. People listen to us, they will see a banner of a laser company and think its good if its on this forum.

Has anyone on this actually bought something from warnlaser? Other than the old review by Daedal I can't find a single case of anyone actually buying one of their lasers. It seems more people here have bought from spymodex.

TBH its not that big of a deal, its right down the bottom of only 1 page. about 7/10 people ask about lasers before they buy them anyway. I agree with Razako too, has anyone actually bought from them apart from Daedal??

i believe that companies have the right to advertise, and members of LPF are allowed to talk freely about any laser companies, within the bounds of civility.

An important part of freedom of the press is free commercial speech. Everyone
understands that an advertiser's claims are nothing more than that- claims.
Any company that does not treat its customers fairly, providing value, will
not survive long in a competitive market.

Fully agree'd, if we started allowing companies like Nova's banners on our site, then this forum will become like LC, BAISED!

How would this forum be biased if we had a Nova banner? Maybe I'm reading your post wrong but in that case we are currently biased to Warnlaser, Blazelasers, and Laserwave! :D

I know they have a right to advertise but people trust this forum and when they see the ad at the bottom they will make the connection that warnlaser are a good company. IMO if they don't provide a good service we should not help fuel their business it should be a two-way deal: we respect them if they respect us
