The SAW 223 is similar in power to the old M16. I shot one once
and didn't care for it. Our local police have them --- so what ........

A small cal machine gun in the wrong hands is a useless POS.
Our local cops now have an MRAP vehicle -49,000 Lb -- Another WOW.
What are they expecting here??

Why wouldn't he be? Are you saying states won't do it, or he doesn't care?

Maryland has banned them, and I thought another one did recently too... but can't confirm that.

Absolutely --- If one person in a statistical populace can misuse
something, all of that populace will do the same. Therefore, everyone
in that group must be regulated by LAW.
This is called the "At Risk Fallacy" which government uses to control us.
Never the person but the product or device.

Video of various people shooting my 50 bmg at the last ar15.com Carolinas get together. Somebody has brought a 458 win mag the last couple times. It weighs around 10-15 pounds. You know that will hurt. I never shot it and don't plan on it.

I have a couple 458 Win Mags. If you lean into them
as you should, they won't hurt you. Recoil is all in
how you handle it.
