storm chasers, meterorolgy?

I know a good few members are from around the american mid west near tornado alley,
have any of you been affected by the recent storms? Or are interested in storm chasing?
I love watching storm chasers and its a life long ambition to go on a chase.
Do any other members have interests in storm chasing, or meterology in general?
