A fair is a great place to see free (and not so free) entertainment. While strolling around the grounds I came upon a friendly performer who was happy to demonstrate his unique talent with only me for an audience:

I felt bad that I decided to leave before the second act. Oh well. There's always next year!

That poor horse is just bored out of his mind ( and maybe a bit nervous being in strange surroundings). He misses his "cricket"... the roller barrel on his bit. He is used to playing with it whenever he is out and about.

I'm guessing the owner is giving the horse a little treat with it's feed, maybe molasses oats... hence the yellow tongue.

I didn't see any people around, so I don't think he had been fed recently. Don't know for sure, though.
