SenKat has never been anything other than helpful in all his dealings with me, I do not have a problem with him when he flames other forum members as there is generally a good reason for it.

We all have our own styles, he shoots from the hip, live with it OP.

Good idea about that IP check, unless they are bouncing their IP or using a proxy.

I put down I dont care....because basically I dont, a forum is a place to exercise free speach and that is something I believe in...

If you have a personal reason for not liking senkat thats your problem...again I just dont care...but dont create idiotic polls like this because they will acomplish nothing but make you look like a panzy who cant handle his own probs...

oh btw, WTF is going on with the EURO champishion transmission, its been cut twice...arrrggh...

If the topic poster has any common sense he is posting from a proxy so an IP check won't do anything.

My vote is to ban him, I mean SenKat hasn't done ANYTHING to help me out in the past, like rescue me from LC, tell me to buy from Nova instead of Wicked, showing me to this site, getting me killer deals on laser diodes, etc, I mean why would I want this guy around? ;D

(To any reader who can't pick out the sarcasm, I'm just kidding about the banning part!)

i ran an IP check right away, before i could contact the person they PMed me saying a friend used their computer to make a new account and post this.

there were some other details as well but im at work, i will get back to you guys ASAP when i have this figured out

Haha my ass c0ldshadow hes obviously lying. So the "story" is: someone with an account here, had someone else who has an account here, come over to his house, who has about 500 posts. and then that person snuck on the computer and made an account and posted this, then the other friend found out and told avery. Hahahqhahahahahahahahahahhhhhaaaaaaaaa.

@styropyro: they obviously have no common sense. do you see this thread?

Privacy and anonymity are a great good. But out of place in this case. You are known to this forum, but use a pseudonym to fire up a negative poll about another forum member. What's the goal of the poll anyway? Trying to create a negative sentiment while remaining safely anonymous yourself? Below the belt action.

Wait a minute, If the friend did this, why was the first post revised after 10-15 min ? If this was done quickly I would imagine that there would be no time for the second version? It was thought out and redone, sounds kinda fishy.

yeah its a lie obviously. but c0ld has no proof against him so he can say whatever he wants, so we cant ban him. :(

the person was clearly lying when they PMed me, i have some evidence that they wanted SenKat banned; the irony is now they may get banned instead

in my opinion this is clearly a cowardly act, if you have a problem with someone don't make a second account to say something about it and hide yourself. there is nothing wrong with honestly making a criticism about someone, but this was just deceptive in the fact they made a second account and lied about it

i support freedom of speech and free opinion, but being lying and deceptive making secondary accounts is wrong. if the person had posted this thread as themself, they would not have been banned, but now chances are they will be, unless an alarming amount of people disagree with this action.

Why not post a poll on that one?  Cold could post the original email minus the identity, and take a vote if its bs or not and the consequense :D
