For best viewing, look to the northeast right before sunrise (says my newspaper). I was out there for two hours last night, it was amazing. I saw big ones with red/orange heads and white tails going across the sky ~45 degrees every few minutes.
Well it's 1:40 AM & I just came back in from watching a glorious display of what the LORD & nature put up for our viewing pleasure, the PERSEID METEOR SHOWER. Generally, in INDIANA, the skies are too cloudy to see much of this astral display, but this year we were blessed with a panoramic horizon to horizon viewing area to observe this beautiful phenomenon. I hope the skies are this clear in NOVEMBER when the LEONID METEOR SHOWER makes it's annual appearance. Truly a site once seen, that will never be forgotten....................rob
