Actually rule 34 should be "If it exists, there is porn of it" which then makes the statement that if there is no porn of it, it does not exist.

I'm starting to believe that someone from GameFaqs made this; rule 34 is pr0n. On gamefaqs, saying rule 34 is the exact same thing. It's also listed as rule 34 in the TOS.

No, everything originated on /b/. whenever someone says FAIL or EPIC WIN, that came from /b/. motivational posters, lolcatz, you name it. Almost every catchy little phrase on the internet today started on /b/. All cuz the NEWFAGS keep breaking rulez 1 & 2

This isn't the rules of the internet, it's what one person posted to an image board a long time ago as the rules for that particular image board and some people have reposted them since then. Even in the context of that particular board these rules are stupid and unobserved. The only application these rules serve is to explain to people why "rule 34" means porn.

This thread reeks of fail. Sageru.
