You see what I see, there are too many connections and all he did was instigate in a thread dealing with the aftermath he was instrumental in causing, VG wanted to say he was picked on by Cyp, but if you keep slapping the guy in his face what do you expect.

I have to disagree with several of you. The issue was never dealt with properly, and it happened several times. If it's changed back to the way it was there is a good chance it will be happening again. I think it's a good thing that Avery and the mods did this but I do think they went a little overboard. I think it would be better if it was somewhere in between the way it was and the way it is now. Maybe change the required reps from 40 down to 30, or change the daily limit back to 10.

10 reps per day and 30 would be better, I think, if we are going to continue using a rep system, that is. I do enjoy giving them out and like seeing mine increase too, regardless of my whining about the abuses.

Just tried REP+ many different members, nope, nada not a single rep given.
As originally stated, IMHO go back to the way it was and if the rep system is abused. The Mods/Admins need to swiftly and firmly address the abuse with that member or members. Even if that member is a close friend, that cannot come into play. Abuse is abuse no matter who the member is.

He hasn't even been very active since this all came up, for a few days he was right afterwards as a in your face kind of response, I thought, but then afterwards very quiet.

I appreciate the facts and details that's been given as it has shed light onto the how, where, what, when, who, why and so on but now I want to keep it generic so this can be focused on the future.
I sure don't mean to be rude but I want the focus to be on moving forwards and fixing this.

I like to live and let live, if someone thinks I deserve a + or a - then so be it, everyone has that right, just like each of us do.

Fair is fair for everyone.

It would balance it's self out, and not everyone is equal, some have more to offer and some have been at it longer, that's just life.

This make it nice for everybody no one gets a neg is just like socialism, it's crap, be free and let everyone else be free, neg rep me if you want to, but I might neg rep you, and if your the big dog you get respect, until a dozen little dogs have had enough....see it balances out all by it's self.

We are all seeing how the nanny state sucks. Being free feels a lot better, but if I have to respect your freedom then you have to respect mine.

Well, reality is different for each of us, to some extent... it will always be that way where individuals are involved because we see the world in unique ways, what is good to me may be bad for you and vice versa, what I think is exciting boring to someone else and this is as it should be... but because of this, judging one an others motivations is a bit of a crap shoot, isn't it? I just don't like people so quickly shooting at the hip at other members just because they disagree with someone, negs should be for more serious infractions in the community, like suggesting something unethical or something which isn't safe, not just disagreements.

However, as I said, we each see things differently, that is the strength of the human race, but also its downfall when we clash over them.

I understand what you are saying, and you do have a voice, you can address any grievance and likely get it corrected if judgment was rushed or harsh, you may find you appreciate the counterpoint.

I'm not going to replay history because mine is full of mistakes as are others.

But just like someone shouldn't in your opinion rush to judgment against you, maybe you shouldn't rush to judgment against them, maybe ask HEY BUDDY, what's up with that? At least give it a try rather than assume they meant the very worst, but it's easy to jump to conclusions when there is a spoiled child in the wings dodging a spanking and himself and crying wolf, or maybe I am all wrong, maybe I would feel different, or maybe I would soak it up and say OK, committed to memory and on the list if a peaceful resolution cant be reached or if I really feel I wasn't wrong, if I was somewhat wrong I could say DANG that was harsh but ok...jerk.

Anything besides socialism, because that is the lesson we are living out is it not?

I'd be happy to forgive the past issues and move on, but I didn't say I would forget There is no fix anyone can do to stop clashes from happening, not sure I want that, but we can each try to be the change in the world we want to see, that is something Gandhi said, isn't it? Well, who ever said it was right, that's the better choice instead of fighting and passing negs around in retribution, but I've been guilty of it several times too, I suppose because it happened to me too many times in the past, child I can be when my back side hurts.

LOL I wasn't calling you a child friend, I was referring to your protectorate that you were shielding, and not everything he got was being picked on.

If VG had a true grievance he should have made a list of outrageous abuses and then enlisted much help from other abused individuals, I even told him this and that he might learn something about himself in doing it, but he wanted to butt heads with the big dog without making the preparations to win, maybe just maybe deep in VG's sub conscious he knew he was wrong?

Maybe that's why he did it the way he did, I told him how to win if he was right, maybe he knew he wasn't?

IF you are reading this VG you know I told you just what I said, but you would not wait, and you would not listen.
And when you were being hypocritical you would not listen, if someone told me that I would think hard about it before getting instantly mad.
You were so narcissistic you butted heads with a moderator, 5 or 6 times and how did that work out.

Ha, I didn't say child in relation to anything you said, I just am that way when I feel... using a phrase I really detest when I see someone else use it; butt hurt.. Gawd, I hate that phrase but I just used it, LOL...

Yea, I talked to VG on the phone tonight, he called me up through Skype, I didn't tell him on the phone, but things did go too far, wouldn't let up after the others had. However, he was all wrapped up in what he thought was wrong and wasn't ready to let go yet, unfortunately. In time he will, I expect, we all must move on over our disappointments, eventually.
