I was bored today and I recently got like 50 feet of GTO wire so I decided to take the output of my NST bank outside and have a little fun with stuff from the yard.

Interesting, at first glance it looked like fire but then I realized it was a plasma/fire mix.

Looks like you had some fun there, wonder what that would do to an old monitor, or light bulb.

Yeah these are things I think about =)

Ebay.  Here's a picture of the entire 4.5KVA transformer bank and another related video.  I need to pull in an extension cord from another room just to power them all.  In all they pull about 40 amps from the house and put out 300mA at 15,000 Volts.  They're current limited and in a test I left them hooked up to a Jacob's ladder arcing for over 3 hours and the transformers only got a bit warm.  If I ever felt like it these could make one mean tesla coil.

How many mA is enough to kill you? (It the amperage that kills you not the voltage right?)

6mA across the heart it enough to kill you.

BUT you need enough voltage to be able to penetrate the skin and make it across your heart.

Wow, where the heck did you manage to get 6 identical transformers?!?! o_O

Here, it was hard enough finding 1

Anyways, providing you can find a way to rectify those, you could make a very decent tesla coil. I have no doubt you could achieve streamers over 2 metres long if you could grab yourself some good caps and some time!

And yeah, be extremely careful with that, touch it and your fried for sure!

Actually it's only 5 identical 15/60's :p Btw you don't need to rectify NST's to make a SGTC. You do need to rectify flybacks because their output is too high frequency for proper tank cap charging or something like that.
