You guys are sure about this HHD loader? The most common way is to install a mod chip.. I just haven't heard of this loader thingy before. All my friends use mod chips to play backup games on their ps2.

Mod chips are the ideal way to go but you have to have it soldered in. Even with a mod chip you still would need the HDD loader to play games on the harddrive. The only added thing about that would be that you can use a copy version of Hdd loader

There's a mod chip called DMS4 or something like that. I already told T_J about it. This chip does not need soldering to be installed.

Yeah I had mentioned that already on this thread. The Solderless DMS4

But the people who bought it said its a real pain in the butt to snap it in.

Nope. I cant afford to get any games yet so no need to rush out and buy it. I'm definitely get one, I just have other priorities right now. I'll let you know how it works out.
