love american muscle cars, just wish they handled better

But then they wouldn't be so "rare" and valuable ;)

Peace,

You sold THAT and bought a CAMRY?! Man, you're getting old or something.

Well insurance was well 1200$ a year then premium gas is expensive I averaged 20 mpg with it so not that bad but I have found another for 2000$ that I am looking at but it needs a little work but not much. My camry averages 34mpg

This is my car. Even though it has 0 horsepower, it also gets [ch8734] miles to the gallon!
Lucky me.

Mine pulled over a G on a 300m skidpad. I could think about the corners. ;)

I have a white 1992 Honda civic Hatchback with original block & gasket with 310,000 + miles on it. Basic maintenance kept-up still running strong. :) Has +/- 100hp on completely stock engine so the performance compared to my last car, 1992 300zx Twin Turbo w/ full exhaust, intake, & boost controller, isn't comparable, but the economical factor defiantly compensates! :p I :-* my Honda.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no American car fanatic, but you have to respect the crazy power of that car. And, the Corvette ZR1 is certainly not just about the power, it is meant to be a supercar, so its going to handle well too. Maybe not quite as well as the cart-like Elise, but the power/speed will very much likely make up the difference ;)

I would love to have a Lotus, but I also like the panty-dropping power of the Corvette, but they're a totally different class of vehicles.... so, I'll take both ;D

My money pit: 1999 Trans am... heads, cam and all the basic boltons.

430 at the wheels (through an auto, big stall & 12 bolt = mucho drivetrain loss), 11.60s in the 1/4 all motor with tranny issues.

The ZR1's neat. It's no Porsche GT2, but then again it doesn't carry the same price tag.
