I´ve recieved my Dre Studio Beats today, but as I opened it to put in the batteries, I saw that there are no contacts for the batterie!
Is there a chance to buy and install only this part?

ooooooh. Is there even a circuit inside that would need power, if so you could hook it
up to a small battery pack to see if it will even work before going through the hassle of
installing battery contacts

did i read this correctly? are you saying they are fake dre beats? if so why would you pay for brand name knock off?

if you did not mean that, then return them!

If I return them, maybe I never get my money back.
I wrote the seller that I give her the chance to write me back till 15-06-2010, if not, I´m going to start a RMA and a paypal dispute

Paypal isn´t interested in this case (no ebay product)
The dhgate seller "chinavolvo" and dhgate don´t understand that this headphones doesn´t work without batteries, even after sending several messages and pics about the missing contacts at mine compared to others (with contacts. I sent them links... vids... etc.

So I´m looking into adding the battery contacts myself (with no DIY experiences), is this possible?

edit: 1111 :D

You could pull the connectors from old stuff that need batteries too which you dont need.
Or get a battery holder for like $1 and get them from there..

You will need something like this:

With this kind of design you could just take out the flat battery contacts from that holder and put them in your headphones, maybe glue them a little in place if they move, connect the wires and youre done.
Looks like your headphones needs mignon batteries.
Thats the holder in the pic: AccuPower Batteriehalter für 2x Mignon AA LR6 Batterie, Akku - AkkuShop.de

Right now you are assuming that there is even any circuitry on the inside. As far as you know, it could just be an empty plastic shell. Open it up and see.
