It still does laze realllly weak, like 0,5mW or even lower.
The only thing i can see wrong with it is the end of the die seem to have been burned
I might try to get it to laze again and retake a picture, a better and sharper one

thanks... it is strange though. it was taken in the day on a hill side, so i have no idea why the background is black???? any ideas?

I think since you were focused on it, everything in the back just looks black, but it's actually just the ground without focus.
As a kid, I used to love setting those things on fire (on small lawns lol) and watch them just go racing in a poof.

thats just west of Kings Island. lasers look amazing in the fog they have for Halloween Haunt; especially when it all stays in the parking lot. I also work there. if you go by there late at night and lots of their fog is lingering in the parking lot, you might see a laser or two.
