A buddy of mine made a bet that I couldn't get $100 worth of pennies without the getting kicked out. At my local bank, the stupid teller thought I was screwing around with her and told me to "get the f$%# out". After going to another bank, I managed to convice the teller that I was serious. Low and behold, I did get my pennies; all 10 000 of them... I unfortunately underestimated the weight of 10 000 pennies; I ended up carrying 50lbs worth of pennies for over a quarter mile uphill. Anyways, enjoy the pics:

The four boxes I lugged for over a quarter mile:

$25 per box:

$25 = 50 rolls = 2500 pennies

Now that I think about it, I should rip up all the rolls and take a box of pennies back to that stupid/rude teller...:eg:

I had about 25lbs of various coins, ended up with around 150$ when i exchanged in the coin machine.

Not after I won the bet ...

EDIT - I seem to have(possibly) misunderstood your question; I paid $100 for all the pennies, there was no fee or anything of that sort... If you plan on doing something similar, I recommend checking with your local bank for "cash order" or "exchange" fees...

You really should take all the pennies back to the teller and say you want 100 $1's, lol.
