Radio Shack sells ferric chloride in 16oz. bottles in-store for $4.50.. If you warm it up and agitate it while etching, it works pretty good.

Almost any kind of paper will work to a degree but glossy ink-jet paper seems to work the best.. I always used the JetPrint brand from Staples.

all friggin etchants are dangerous. I use sodium persulphate as an etchant and sodium hydroxide as a photocoat developer.

Dude!! I absolutly hate that stuff we got like 5 bottles of it on sale and when i tried it it started smoking in the and it almost makes you pass from the fumes lol.. i have to try that.. do you just put it in like a water bottle with foil inside the close the lid?
Man... its almost gone but i have another one that has a 16%Hydrogen Chloride (the same active ingrediant in the works) would that still work or is there something else that makes it do that.

no for the bottle just muriatic acid, not peroxide, i never realized how dangerous that stuff was till i went to home depot and they said they cant keep it in the store.
i had to buy 2 gallons for 9.99$ i didnt need that much i needed like 1 liter but oh well

put tin foil in bottle. pour in the works. close lid. hide behind bush for like 5 mins. then BOOM

Awsome i guess that other type has it in there too, the first one i didnt put enough foil so it took about 30min to go.. after 10 min i gave up and left it out there then 20 minutes later i heard i big boom all the way in my house ;D.. the next one went off in like 5min but the bottle had a leak and didnt explode so it wasnt very loud 
.
Im gona try it with a 2 liter bottle later.. that should be biggg.

i suggest hiding behind a stone bush for a 2 liter bottle. oh, and add more foil ;D
