yeah they do that to get extra $$$ for their purpose.
Also it seems they will try to keep the 1,20 euro i have on the account.

i've never had problems with paypal. they're much less crooked than most banks.

Yeah I've been with PP for over 4 years and once you know how
they operate there is no problem with their service. I've never
had any problems with them either once I wised up to their
rules.

other than deciding what the exchange rate should be to their benefit....when our dollar was above par with the US dollar, paypal was never higher than 98 cents CDN to the US dollar. I'd call that crooked, your mileage may vary.

PayPal uses XE as their exchange rate and
it can change a few times per days.
Just like all banks and credit cards... they put an exchange rate tranfers fee
on top of the exchange. That's why the available exchanged funds are not
equal to the exchange rate...

If they closed your account and it had $$ in it when it was closed they can keep
it for up t0 ~6 months before they are required to send it back to you... normally
in the form of a check...

11 years with PayPal.

Never had any problem with Paypal.

Whenever I had charge-back (read scam) customers Paypal fight them back till the end.

Now they even tell who is possible high risk customer, and transaction is blocked until I decide what to do next.

Scam went to almost zero %

I am US Paypal customer.
