I'm looking for it right now, it's behind clouds currently, don't know how good the view will be.

EDIT: Just looked outside, too many clouds to see it very well.

I saw it. heard it was going to be a total, but it was not. my boss said totals were visible from one whole side of the planet, which I know is false, only a small area gets the total, everyone else gets partial at best. It was not total anywhere right? first solar eclipse I've seen in person, wish I could see a total like in apocalypto

My wife & I looked several times before sunset.
I used a welding shield. It was fun to see.

I went outside during the hours it was able to be seen, here in California & I really didn't see much. Clouds covered most of it up & I could only see the sun through the clouds :(

I got a few pics. I shot it with my new Sony A65 but used a plastic solar window meant for looking at it with your eyes so there not great the plastic made the images look really soft.

I wish I had known at the time. By the time I knew it was already over, I'm in Maryland so if you saw in Richmond then I probably could of too because it was not cloudy.
