Well, since my occupation is student, I guess you could say my main 'hobby' is Flash programming.

But if you do it professionally, it isn't really a hobby is it ;) lol

Otherwise, I like Table Tennis and my hackysacks. And being an Administator for an online game with hundreds of thousands of players is nice, but that's edging more towards 'professional' again.

So I guess I don't really have many hobbies, just an insane amount of work, lol

I have lots of other passions - in the summer I like to travel around the US and ride rollercoasters with other members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts club. I know I've ridden more than 100 different coasters. In July my friend and I are going to do all the coasters in Pennsylvania one week.

I also like to garden, and I like to cook.

My job is freelance artwork, so that's both a hobby and a job - most of the time I do it for business but sometimes I draw or paint for personal amusement.

There is one other thing that I spend lots of money on building up a collection - I have a huge collection of natural history items. Sometimes I have a real dilemma - should I buy that lion skull for $600 or get a nice powerful red lab laser.......decisions, decisions! I've got tons of animal skulls, claws, teeth, skins, shark jaws, bones, etc. I can hope that one day my laser collection will also be that large!

Fast cars, mountain bikes, and especially breeding and training my German shepherds.

That's my passion.

Great thread! All the adventure sports aside, I guess my hobbies would be robotics, modelling, woodworking, photography, collecting art and, of course, lasers. I've also just discovered a new hobby thanks to this forum, (florescent minerals) and am in the process of building a 26W SW UV lamp with which to photograph and prospect for them myself.

I'm a graphic designer by trade, so I look at my sketching and painting as "professional development", not hobbies. :D

Cheers, [smiley=beer.gif] CC

Guitar, computer games, and I've recently taken up parkour, I'm still sucky on the backflips... ;D I always was attracted to extreme sports , but they're always associated with hurting yourself. And I'm not a big fan of getting bones broken :p I guess relying on your arms and legs and a good pair of shoes is less risky that anything with wheels and way less expensive. :-/

I just got into the laser thing recently.. For the past decade or so my main hobby has been modifying and drag racing my car & website development. Other than that I like metal detecting (hunting for Civil War relecs, etc), playing guitar, Texas Hold'em poker, watching movies and spending time with my wife & family.

I hope those are LED flashlights.
As I say: "If it ain't an LED, then it's a piece of cr@p ::)"

I like to build my own stuff. Including flashlights.
