the amazing part my friend is that Opera has everything built in and it just use a 5%~ extra memory, while opening all those aplications you mentioned or installing all those plugins will lead to a important memory use!

It works so much better though. Admit that the programs integrated in Opera is junk.

No, sir. IRC? Don't use it. Torrent? uTorrent is a <300kb VERY lightweight program. It would take Opera more memory to download torrents, and I'd rather not have to have my browser open to download torrents. Mail client? Yahoo inbox #1 on my speed dial, as well as yahoo messenger giving me email alerts :p

Yes, a lot of useless stuff really.

Do you guys make money pushing Opera?

If not, then who cares? Not trying to be rude but I'm tired of seeing people pushing, debating, and arguing over a this stupid browser all over the forum. Cool, you like it. Nothing wrong with that, but quit pushing it my face everywhere. WTF?

@tech: No offense, but if you are tired of seeing our discusion just don't enter here xD

We are not making any cash with this, we just like this software

@grix/humansymphony: junk? wow, I'm using the mail client for all my mail since ever and it works amazingly, the IRC client works very good with the laserchat and the torrent client, well, it works just like every other client but without having to open anything else :)

I use chrome currently, though my bro uses opera. Like many people here have said, chrome is pretty much all I need. Opera is a great browser, but I prefer Chrome's UI a bit better than Opera. I wouldn't complain if I had to use it though :)

Sorry, but I tried Opera a long time ago. It blows IMO. I prefer IE8 over any other browser, followed by chrome.
