I found this in my local news, thought it was worth posting.

"Hoping to protect its top-secret operations by decentralizing its massive computer hubs, the National Security Agency will build a 1-million-square-foot data center at Utah's Camp Williams.
It will also require at least 65 megawatts of power -- about the same amount used by every home in Salt Lake City combined. A separate power substation will have to be built at Camp Williams to sustain that demand, said Col. Scott Olson, the Utah National Guard's legislative liaison. "

So pretty much the nsa is building a huge spy complex that will consume as much power as my entire city. just wonderful. its not like we dont have enough army and nukes already.im sure they wouldn't be using it to spy on americans in america though... its just for terrorists im sure.. the one thing i don't get it is, we are always so broke and have to raise taxes... and lower education spending etc. But we always seem to have enough money for building prisons, getting new cop cars & creating spy jobs. Creating the nanny state. BS if you ask me. All in the name of terrorism from 9/11. Well where the f*^&* is osama then ?? its been 8 years now.
