hmm strange, its going to be funny when you have to tell your attacker to "hold off for a second" while you enter the safety switch code :p

Seems they're saying we should fight the terrorists that 'threaten our families' (based on that photo) with bright lights, rather than the arms that we have the right to bear.

I'll be sending a slower, much more lethal projectile their way, thanks.

TT-30. Making peace with 7.62x25 mm armor-piercing ammunition.

On the other hand, that Spyder Mini looks quite good.

Seems like some sort of protection system...for self defense...

...or its a mobile cookie bake machine.

If it is a laser, I feel that for self defense or not encouraging people to "immobilize" someone with any laser is a bad message to send out. They would more than likely be able to pull off a gun shot to you before you were able to aim for the eyes of them either way.

I consider a firearm infinitely more dangerous than a laser pointer.

Having a gun for self defence makes sense. A laser for self defence does not. Even if you somehow blind an attacker [Quoting a member here who said this:] a punch or shot in general direction is very likely to hit. [end quote. Good quote!]

On the other hand, if it's you who is making the shooting, the attacker is not very likely to come back at you with a hole in his chest.

If only wicked liars were as good at handling their business as they are developing prototypes, they would be able to control a much larger share of the market! It seems like a slap in the face to many of the people who are still waiting for a product they ordered a while ago!

Let's just hope wicked lasers can ship them out before the terrorists break into your house.

If you're counting on shipping time to save you, start writing a will.

Well, my Arctic did arrive within two weeks, but it was review sample and can't account that for, right?

There are people who are still waiting on them from beggining of the Arctic (first hundreds to order).

That could be a dazzler backed up with a taser or pepper spray jell like
Kimber uses in their little guns.

Whatever, I'm still preffering a Russian pistol over that sh*t :p

I mean seriously, lasers are on a brink of total ban worldwide due to primarily aircraft accidents, and they come up with a device specificaly designed for shining into people's eyes.

Lasers are awesome and everything. But selfdefense? Uh-uh.
