Hello Everyone!

So as a recent graduate of Electrical Engineering, I have finally found some time to get back to my old hobbies which got me interested in the major to begin with.

So, I've been trying to start a little online electronic superstore for us niche hobbyists since like 2008... and I'm finally coming around to making it a reality. I plan to offer up my expertise and that of anyone who wants to help to make and sell everything from drivers to diodes... Some of the work that has gone into this surfaced for a bit last summer: http://laserpointerforums.com/f55/feeler-cheap-small-laser-diode-drivers-90049.html

Hopefully I can give back a little to the forum that literally made me into the person I am today (thanks, Avery).

So the planned launch date is two weeks from now. The point of this post is to gather feedback on what you think, things you want me to sell, and finally, what I should name it!

^may be the worst name I have heard for a shop, lol.

Some simple maybe, like Light Supply or Beam Expo. Keep it simple and easy to remember. A great example is Moh's new shop "BudgetBeams"- simple and easy to remember.

Hey, just letting my imagination run wild

I can just imagine this scenario:

Member: Where can I get cheap diodes?
Veteran: Go to Illuminatastic

Lol.

Congrats for the graduation. Being into E.E myself I know how much effort one needs to put into until you get your degree. Also, welcome back :)

Being close to the UV end of the spectrum, 420nm diodes would be good at 'blazing it'... :p

Illuminati! :D
