That's huge but i've been looking at some plans like that and build it myself. If i do you'll have to come into the bar come observatory and have a brew ;)

It's the 12" and it's god damn heavy i couldn't lift the 14" or 16" i was gonna get the 10" but i lifted the 12" at the shop and i managed it, so i went with what i can lift ;)s

yes the 12 comes in at 96 lb minus tripod while the 16 is 250 lbs. sure would be nice to have unlimited cash for 16 and rent a mover to handle it for you.

I keep mine in a case come trolley for moving it about so the only hard work is lifting it onto the tripod. When my mate comes he brings his fancy CCD stuff and helps me. But i'm a strong lad and can manage it ok.
