My side of the argument.

Well, over the past few days there's been more drama on dramaforums.com. It seems certain people like to use me as a scapegoat. I'm going to show why I feel like I'm being unfairly targeted. Be prepared for a wall of text.

A problematic member, BobH was stirring up drama in that thread with his snide remarks. Me being tired of seeing Bob trash good guys on this forum like Jerry and Dave, called him out on it. A few other members called him out on it as well. (ChipDouglas, ElektroFreak, etc). Not to mention pretty much the entire forum has had problems with BobH at some point or another. Eventually, this thread ends up closed by Simon to prevent more arguing. I don't agree with that decision, but it was the mod's to make, not mine. Eventually through enough complains, BobH is banned by Avery (Good job once again). After that, Jeff has the nerve to make this.

Here we go again. Jeff found it necessary to blame me for the closing of his thread. Why, I don't know. All I did was tell Bob to relax, and he got all pissy leading to the other altercations with the other members I mentioned. Was I wrong to do this? I'm not going to re-write what I said in the wet dream thread, I encourage you guys to read for yourselves. Sure, I swore in that thread. Should I have? Probably not, but I don't appreciate people calling me a "fucking drama queen".

While that mess is boiling over, Avery starts this thread.

In that thread, I also brought to Avery's attention that another previously banned member has returned once again. His name is irrelevant to this post, but you can see it in there if you'd like. Note that in this thread Jeff has the nerve to ask that I be banned, and that BobH be unbanned. Remember, the majority of the people in this forum have had a problem with BobH at one point or another. Now, being that I felt bad that Jeff's thread was closed (and even though I admit I'm not crazy about him), I went ahead and requested that Avery re-open the thread due to the fact that it should not have been closed in the first place. Do note that Jerry admitted that he sent a PM to Simon which resulted in the threads closing, which he had every right to do.

Long story short, I feel I'm being unfairly targeted. Although we have an Admin and a Mod here, we're still a self moderated forum. Avery always asks us to help him out with letting him know about problematic members. If you feel I'm being a problematic member, I feel you should at least have the decency to let me know via PM first instead of running to the Admin.

Here's the deal. I'm not one to stay where I am not wanted. I'm starting my own ban poll so to speak. It will be open for seven days. What I am proposing is this. Should I stop posting on these forums? If the majority of you answer yes, I promise and swear to never post publicly in this forum again. If the majority votes no, then I will continue about my business as usual. I only ask that it not be a full ban because I do conduct business via PM's from time to time. Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and I want all of your honest feedback.

I would suggest just staying away from Flaminpyro. It's been explain over and over again so I think everyone should respect eachothers space and leave it at that. No secret grudges

the required cool off time and would suggest the same to FP...
It's difficult to count the grains of gun powder once it's lit..

I have no problem with that, and I honestly have no problem with the guy other than the fact that he's personally targeting me & associating me with other drama. I'm more than willing to come to a truce with him, and even offered to do so. With that being said, he doesn't seem to want to accept.

Give it a couple days for him to cool down. He's a reasonable guy.

How ironic that you post that there is too much drama on LPF, and you go and post a drama thread? PM's are there for exactly this reason. If you want to be banned, ask a mod or c0ld directly, it's not like we can ban you ...

If you have a problem with a member, ignore them, they aren't sitting beside you ...

MFO, 3 times you said you will add Jeff to your ignore list. 3 times you've taken him off. Jeff is not going anywhere, and neither are you. So WTF, keep him ignored and there will be no more issues. If you cant, and just want to screw with him, then you're not being a bigger man, and will eventually just get banned.

And no, I'm not being hypercritical. If me and EF can bury the hatchet, so can you and Jeff. Just stop talking to him, leave him alone, and everything will pass. Keep stabbing him, and you're no better than BobH. Let it go.

I originally added him before I took my break. When I came back, I took everyone off for a fresh start so to speak. However, I come back and the man is still talking smack. So I want to know, how come it's ok for him to start drama? I honestly wish I could bury the hatchet once and for all with him. You're right though and I see what you mean.

Yes, BobHs post may seem like it was directed towards you...but in the end there was a lot of truth in it, the fact is relations between members on this forum would be drastically different, if we saw each other in real life on a daily basis.

Lets face, you saw that it was directed towards you and you snapped with a much more directed assault. Unjustified? Maybe not...I don't judge...

But had you let it slip, as TJ is suggesting...who would have come across as the "bigger" man?

I realize that you are from NYC, having spent almost a decade in the Newark and north NJ(bergen), I know that living in the tri-state area almost exclusively means that you are an asshole or turn into one, at least to some extent.

But just relax and ignore, proven to be healthy for the system both physically and mentally.
