My Notes Thread

I seem to lack a place I can keep notes to myself within LPF. I seem unable to save and edit a PM (to myself) and thus, have no choice but to start and edit a thread. Too bad I cannot lock it or make it private. It is my intent to edit post #1 as I locate things I want to save and refer back to.

It would seem that you could accomplish the same end by using a document on your own computer

With almost 30K members now, "personal notes" threads would very quickly get out of hand

You could also make a "folder" in your PM's for your "notes"
You could send yourself PM's with content-specific subject lines that would make it searchable
