Finally got a label machine for my lasers, well technically my girlfriend bought it for me, she's actually the one who bought my BDR-209 module as a gift :)
I'm so glad she supports my hobby.
But yeah, with an LPM finally I can label my lasers correctly.

Enjoy, that was a nice gift from her. It's a good day when you have so many lasers you need to label them. :)

I most definitely agree, unfortunately I don't have as many as I want, I want your museum! Hehe

Well thanks, but you never know, one day maybe. :)

What type of labeler did you get?

I'm thinking of upgrading mine. Trying to make them all with the same style of label. Right now I've got different styles on some, looks kinda tacky. Something that prints both large and small letters/numbers in different colors, is what I'm looking for, but their a couple hundred dollars for a good one. Not sure how much I like Mac&Cheese. :)

Lookin good Richie!

Bob, I really like the "Brother P-Touch" labelers, always had good luck with them at home and work.
They seem to do well in the ratings, and the replacement tapes are easy to get, although not cheap.

Haha! I was actually just thinking about what else I could label, maybe I can label the cats, "black", "Tabby".

Mine isn't fancy really, it does do all sizes and fonts, but unfortunately not in color, that would be awesome!! My girlfriend read that mac&cheese comment lol! We started laughing!
Mine is a the Dymo Letratag. I didn't even realize they made some that print color, I keep thinking how cool and handy that would be, especially in this hobby :)

Nice labels !
Thanks 3D :)

Those brother ones are pretty good, have used a bunch of those at various jobs.

I have a Dymo shipping label printer, I just print a bunch of labels on one shipping label and then cut them up.

Haha! You're joking about it now but I've seen stranger things happen! My friend took a yellow highlighter to his white cats ears and then turned on his blacklight. Poor cat was going about with glow in the dark ears for about a month.

If we're talking label makers, I'm a fan of the Dymo ones. The Brother label makers leave big margins, and the controls on the higher end ones are lacking compared to the high-end Dymos. A bunch of my friends that do networking use Dymo Rhinos which really have a lot of great features for labeling cables and such. The mid-tier and higher consumer Dymos also have PC integration for new fonts at a reasonable price.

That said, if you want the nicest possible labels with color and many fonts, you're best off getting a color laser printer with a passthrough/manual tray. Never seen label makers do color. Color laser printers are very nice for other things as well.

We used to have custom label makers here on LPF. I got many back in those days. Still have several left as I bought a bunch to use on upcoming builds. I liked the holographic ones, though they weren't so much holographic as just glossy and well made. Congratulations on your new label maker, Richie. Also, kudos for having a girl friend who supports this hobby.
