Not that anyone cares, I went camping this weekend. It was the first break from work that I have had so far this year!

Since this was my first Camping trip this year, I decided to bust out some of my new toys. :)

My first new Toy is a KD50 with a 3.6Volt rechargeable battery. http://www.kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=1246
With that 3.6 volt battery in it, it seemed to have a nice boost in brightness. THis made me quite pleased for when it came to pointing out the stars at night and when I had fun with the beam in the campfire smoke. (Sorry, No pics of this)

My Second new toy was a MTE SSC P7-C "900lumen" Flashlight, which I just got on Friday.

This light was by far, very impressive at night. I had the brightest light in the whole camp ground. Although this light isn't very good at throwing the beam, it still had the capability to go about 100yards just due to the fact that it has a very powerful LED emmitter. I recomend this light to everyone. :)

All in all, I had a great weekend and I hope that everyone else did too. I do have some pictures of the park and of the lake if anyone wants me to post them....

Later all.

camping is the best. My father and I took a trip out to Banff Canada and hiked 35miles through the Canadian rockies. I took my greenie with me. Had never seen stars like that before. You could see the entire milky way!! and you best believe i lit the thing up with some 532nm ha.

LMAO LOL
Roomate forgot hahah. No problem, I can wait :D

More like he doesn't have the money to pay for it, but it's all good. If everything goes according to plan, he should have it paid and up and running by this weekend. Plus I honestly don't think that the pictures are that great, but if you want to see them, that's not a problem.

I've been to LA and Vegas, and it's good but not as good as people make out. I really want to go to NY though.

Where are you from Silvershot?

I went mountain climbing in Colorado last summer and took my lasers with me. I think I got some picture I might post. My favorite pictures were the ones of the beams during the night, while we were in the middle of a cloud. pulled them out of protection for just a little bit and they were SO bright and defined!

As for general camping I agree that seeing a beam in camp fire smoke is really cool. You can sorta get a liquid sky effect by moving the beam back and forth, but it would probably look best if you had some sort of scanner to do it correctly
