Very cool, I could watch those everyday.

I was going to get my 90g tank turned into salt water, but the conversion was $700. Plus if you mess up the care of the fish you'll lose hundreds of dollars in fish.

I do have a large gumball machine they would look cool in.

Yeah that snail is pretty cool.

I've been watching a few youtube videos on those jellyfish, and they like cold water and require a refrigeration unit in the tank. That could get pretty expensive every month I imagine if you have a big tank.

Strange. The site sells a heating unit.

I'm sure a TEC would be OK to cool down a small tank.

Its overnight, US only.

If my turtle ever dies I'll get a couple of these.

But he'll probably outlast me. :yabbem:

I picked up a small aquarium chiller from a 2nd hand shop for $40 :D

But I suppose you were referring to the running costs, in which case yes, it'd get expensive fairly quickly. It'd probably require about the same power as running a large refrigerator all the time.

His tank is dirty right now, so no pix. :na: My filter died, and its like green jello. Its not bad for a turtle, but bad enough I dont want to take a picture.

But this is what he looks like.

I've had him ~14 years. I got him off a girl I worked with. She bought him for her son, her son freaked out, and she put him in a bucket. 4 moths later she found the forgotten bucket under some laundry, and the turtle was still alive. She told me she didnt know what to do with him, so I took him.

They are great pets, but you need a quality filter. I buy fish tank filters because they are cheap, but they dont last long. He's in a 30g tall tank. I want to put him in my 90g tank, but 1. I dont have the room for the tank, and 2. the filter would have to be custom made.

I got stung by a 3 foot. not to big, man o war once, now they ain't quite jelly fish if I remember they are a a colony or some weirdness, but I would love to have a mini man o war in tank. I don't know how to keep one alive though so I would have to study up on it. and would it take a big tank? The one that got me was 3 foot wide but had 9 foot tentacles, but I here their are tiny ones. I bet 405nm led light,(not a laser) would make them glow but I am not sure.

the coloration on your turtle is insane nice.
