Finally got my order today.

I bought a bunch of them. The Beats, Sennheiser CX500, Creative EP830.

I like the Beats, they sounds good. But, they're kinda heavy headphones so they don't like to stay in with any of the tips included. Also, the tips weren't pushed on all the way when I got them, so I was disappointed with the bass at first. But, after I fixed that, they sounded good. The others fit and stayed in much better. If you don't like deep/heavy bass, go for the Sennheisers, if you do, go for the Creative. Both sounded good in my opinion, though.

And, all items looked legit. Unless they went to great lengths to create very good quality replicas, I'd say they're real... how they sell for so cheap, I don't know. My guess is overrun on manufacturing that is being offloaded cheap.

Thank you very much, you helped me alot. Got my Beats today, they are now my best earphones and the first one who want to stay perfectly in my ears!

I have been using the Bose in-ear headphones and i love them. The sound is great, and
because the are not the type of in-ear headphones that need to be pushed into your ear
canal, they can stay in your ears for a lot longer and are a lot more comfortable, atleast
thats what i think :D

I can't say I'm surprised that they're fake, but they are VERY good looking fakes, haha.

Compared to the video, mine has the correct manual, but the box is the same as the fake one and there's no serial no on the headphones.

Anyway, they're still good headphones for $40, I think. If you're not really in need of the "style", I'd say go for the $10 ones (Creative, Sennheiser). I suppose the others might be fake too, but the packaging was pretty convincing. And, they all sound pretty good.

You guys should check out
head-fi.org
and go to the forum and read some reviews.
Honestly I have listened to the beats and they aren't even close to my Audio Technica AD700s and many others say the same thing. The bass on the beats is heinous as it is over emphasized, because they have a built in amp that merely increases the volume of the bass frequency, so that is pretty much what you hear and with the volume disproportionate then you don't hear any other noises and the Bass sounds very muddy.
I would check out some M50s or for IEMs I would go with the RE0s from hifiman. But go check out the forums and decide for yourself. Here is a link with peoples recommendations AT M50 vs beats by dre studio which is better? - Head-Fi.org Community
Happy listening,
Lane

I can vouch for the Audio-Technica M50's, I got them with the money I got for Christmas and can't recommend them enough.

I picked up a pair of Bose AE2s and I have been loving them. The AE2s have so many improvements over my old triports. My AE2s are very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing (makes dubstep 2x awsome). I also like that there is only one wire going to the headphones. They are about $150 if i remember correctly.

I know a lot of people like to knock on Bose for being for being overpriced and other things, but I believe their headphones are the best products they make and very good ones.

I personally do not like the Beats because they are nothing special. I tried them out in an apple store and was not impressed. They are bulky and somewhat of a "I have money" fashion statement. :yh:
